Antone Rhett Jerel Bad Heart Bull was born on September 22, 1993 in Pine Ridge, SD to Matte Coy Bad Heart Bull Sr and Carla Long Soldier. Antone made his journey to the Spirit World on September 13, 2022 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Antone is survived by his children Tristan Bad Heart Bull of Wisner, NE, and Miracle Bad Heart Bull of Rapid City, SD; grandmothers Iris Between Lodges, Annie (Jerry) Brings Him Back, Colleen Bettelyoun, Eileen (Robert) Running Bear, Sharon (Elton) Yellow Boy, Delores Janis, and Delphine Long Soldier; grandfather Alvin Long Soldier; siblings Anfernee Bad Heart Bull of Bismarck, ND, Toby Long Soldier of Oglala, SD, Gage Bad Heart Bull, Harley Bad Heart Bull, and Matthew Bad Heart Bull, all of Rapid City, SD; and Matte Coy Bad Heart Bull Jr of Pine Ridge, SD; uncles Charles (Xaviera) Long Soldier Jr, Travis Richard, Tim Long Soldier, Antoine Long Soldier, Donald Long Soldier, Kim Bad Heart Bull, Doyle Bad Heart Bull, Ken Hart, Marty Hart and Lyndon Stone; aunts Lahnee Long Soldier, Ola Featherman, Tahnee (Victor) Between Lodges, Precious Featherman, Kim Long Soldier, Bobbi Long Soldier, Elaine Provost, Tiffany Stone and Ronnie Stone; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Antone was preceded in death by his parents Matte Coy Bad Heart Bull Sr and Carla Long Soldier; daughter Angel Bad Heart Bull; maternal grandparents Charles Long Soldier Sr and Karen Between Lodges; paternal grandparents Matthew Kayo Bad Heart Bull and Eleanor (Hart) Bad Heart Bull; uncles Bret Long Soldier, Michael Featherman and Kenny Featherman; and aunts Cheryl Long Soldier, Promise Long Soldier, and Emily Long Soldier.
Pallbearers will be Jackson Brave, Dominic Roan Eagle Sr, Eugene Chief Eagle, Jason Long Soldier, Austin Cuny, Trent Fast Wolf, Justin Eagle Hawk, Corby Long Soldier, Daniel Kills Small, and Judd Walking.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
