AP Source: Denver Receiver Tim Patrick Suffers Torn ACL

A person with knowledge of the diagnosis tells The Associated Press that Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick has torn his right ACL.

Patrick was taken for an MRI after he injured his right knee during training camp. The fourth-year veteran made a leaping catch on a ball thrown by quarterback Russell Wilson.

Patrick’s right knee buckled and he fell to the ground as he made his first move to run after the catch.

Running back Damarea Crockett tweeted that he tore his ACL in practice, as well. Both injuries were non-contact.
