Archie Lloyd Red Owl Jr was born on March 30, 1959 in Wagner, SD to Archie Red Owl, Sr. and Pauline (Montileaux) Pawnee Leggins. Archie Jr made his journey to the Spirit World on June 23, 2023 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Archie is survived by his spouse Denise King-Red Owl; daughters Wiyaka Red Owl, Latonna Red Owl, Niomi Red Owl, Dawn Red Owl, Dora Red Owl, Bree Red Owl, Bella Red Owl, and Veronica Rattler; sons Archie W Red Owl III, Presley Red Owl, and Ronald Red Owl; siblings Rita Red Owl, Joseph Red Owl, David Red Owl, and Tawnya Pawnee Leggins; grandchildren Shaun Janis, Andre Means, Ashton Red Owl, Adonis Red Owl, Alyis Red Owl, and Coy Red Owl; uncles Francis Montileaux and Moses Montileaux; and aunts Theresa Mendoza and Sheralda Montileaux.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents Archie Red Owl Sr and Pauline Montileaux; daughter Tristann Red Owl; sister Helen (Kim) Red Owl; brothers Ronald Red Owl and Verdell Pawnee Leggins; and grandmother Helena Montileaux.
Pallbearers will be Elwin Brave Heart, OJ Cuny, Preston Tuttle, Colin Condon, Brian Rowland, Willie Ferguson, Owen Ferguson, and Fabian Black Crow.
Honorary pallbearers will be the OST Housing Authority, OST Rural Water, OST Water & Sewer, and All Friends & Relatives.
