Chadron’s Taegan Bach qualified for the Class C girls state golf meet after placing 9th at Monday’s C-5 district meet at Crandall Creek in Ogallala. Bach finished her round with a 103.
The Cardinals shot a 424 and missed out on team qualifying by one spot, taking 4th.
Valentine swept the team and individual championships. The Badgers recorded a team score of 396 and Kaetryn Bancroft carded an 84. Ogallala took 2nd with a 405 and Perkins County was 3rd and took the final team spot with a 414.
Kenzie Pourier shot a 104, Reese Ritterbush carded 107 and Lucy Rishcling filled out the scorecard with a 110.
The Class C state meet will get started next Monday at Lake Maloney Golf Course is North Platte.
