Bands On Bordeaux Features The Bar Flies And Presentation Of The Annual Chamber Awards

  

  Tonight is the last of the regular run of Bands on Bordeaux concerts with The Bar Flies playing from 6:00-9:00 at Railroad Park in Chadron.

The final concert of the season, the Encore, will be next month on August 17.

      Chadron Chamber of Commerce executive director Gabby Michna says while Bands on Bordeaux tries to bring in a couple of bands each year that local audiences don’t know, they always bring back local favorites like the Bar Flies, sponsored by MPC Heating and Cooling.

Michna says tonight’s Bands on Bordeaux also celebrates the Chamber members and volunteers singled out by membership votes for recognition.

This is the second year the Chamber Awards have been presented at Bands on Bordeaux rather than the Chamber’s annual meeting. Michna likes the change because it allows even more public recognition for the honorees.

Bands on Bordeaux also includes a variety of food vendors, the Chamber beer garden, activities for kids, and information booths for various groups and organizations.
