“Bands On Bordeaux” – Rowan Grace Band

Loading

This week’s Bands on Bordeaux concert features what may well be the season’s most widely-known performer – Rowan Grace of Rapid City, who reached the Round of 10 last fall on the NBC competition show The Voice.

Grace, a student at Rapid City Central High School, drew more attention than nearly any other competitor as her stay on the show was constantly full of drama, including her final loss in the Instant Vote.

She was initially chosen by Gwen Stefani for her team, lost in the 3-way knockouts, then was stolen by Stefani’s husband Blake Shelton. Grace was Shelton’s “coach’s save” in the first live round as well.

Still only 17, she has been performing publicly since age 9 and is described as “a fresh new face in the Pop Music Scene” with music that is “positive and upbeat with lyrics that are written to lift people up and inspire them.

Rowan Grace also has a direct tie to Chadron because her band includes Chadron native Tanner Johns, who is earning a name for himself as a guitarist and singer.

Bands on Bordeaux runs from 6-9:00 at Railroad Park – 1st and Main in Chadron. It’s free, but seating is limited so it’s recommended you bring your own chairs.

There will be a number of food vendors, a beer garden encompassing the whole block, and vendors.
