Benjamin Feather Earring-Conquering Bear was born on January 12, 1935 in Pine Ridge, SD to William Feather Earring and Mary Conquering Bear. Benjamin made his journey to the Spirit World on June 8, 2024 in Rapid City, SD.
Benjamin is survived by his daughters, Verla Feather Earring of Sioux City, IA, Gerda Feather Earring of Minneapolis, MN, Shirline (Joe) Rainey of Porcupine, SD, Millie (Bud) Blue Horse of Pierre, SD, Tana White Face of Rapid City, SD, Latoya Feather Earring of Porcupine, SD, and Emmaline Ferguson of Kyle, SD; sons, Malcolm Feather Earring of Porcupine, SD and Tim Gans of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, William Feather Earring and Mary Conquering Bear; spouse, Alvina Feather Earring; brothers, Dawson Has No Horse, Casey Blue Bird, and Steven Sitting Eagle; sisters, Theresa Feather Earring and Florence Ten Fingers; children, Donroy Feather Earring, Fermina Feather Earring, and Benita Feather Earring; and grandchildren, Jesse Running Shield, Whisper Cottier, Baby Darrin Whipple, and Ceriol Locke.
