Funeral services for 62-year old Bernadette Shoulderblade are Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11:00 at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Rapid City, SD, with Deacon Jim Scherr officiating.
Burial follows at 12:30 PM at the Blacks Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD
Visitation precedes the funeral Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 9-11:00, also at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church
Bernadette Jayne Shoulderblade was born on October 23,1958 in Porcupine, SD to Percy Henry and Sadi Lays Bad. Bernadette made her journey to the Spirit World on July 6, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.
Bernadette is survived by her children, Vanessa Shoulderblade, Windelyn Shoulderblade, Jr., Timothy Shoulderblade, Renessa Shoulderblade, and Scott Shoulderblade; brother, Ed Cut Grass; sister, Irene Lays Bad; cousins, Clara Winterford, Carol Winterford, and David (Ella) Lays Bad; niece, Kelly Henry; grandchildren, Nehemiah Shoulderblade, Matthias Shoulderblade, and Timothy Shoulderblade, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
Bernadette was preceded in death by her husband, Windelyn Shoulderblade, Sr.; parents, Percy Henry and Said Lays Bad; son, James Shoulderblade; siblings, Elmer (Gertie) Henry, Harlan Henry, and Baby Boy Henry; aunts & uncles, Ramsey Lays Bad, Francis Lays Bad, Everette Lays Bad, Radding Lays Bad, Zara “Christina” Lays Bad, Agnes Lays Bad, and Lara Winterford; and great-great grandparents, James & Mary Lays Bad.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Shoulderblade, Scott Shoulderblade, Michael Lays Bad, Ranzle Lays Bad, and Ed Cut Grass.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
