Bernadette Jacqueline White Hawk was born on January 6, 1956 in Pine Ridge, SD,to Steven Black Bear and Roselyn (White Hawk) Brothers. Bernadette made her journey to the Spirit World on January 18, 2023 at the Human Services Center in Yankton, SD.
Bernadette is survived by her mother Roselyn (White Hawk) Brothers; siblings Dolly Brothers, Meredith Black Bear, Nathan Yellow Lodge, and Raymond Yellow Lodge; children Earleen Janis, Heather “Rachel” (Shawnna) Janis, Wahacanka Tall, Amanda (John) Eder, Amber Tall, Stephanie Tall, and Jessica Tall; and hunka daughter Sharon Black Eyes;
