Funeral services for 35-year old Bobby Joe Garnier are Monday, Nov 7, 2022 at 2:00 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala, SD, with Pastor Asa Wilson officiating.

Burial is at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala.

A two-night wake service begins Sat, Nov 5, at 2:00 at the Garnier residence near Oglala. The second night starts at 4:00 PM, Sunday, Nov 6, at 4:00 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala

Bobby Joe Garnier was born on July 13, 1987 in Alliance, NE to David and Georgiana (Picket Pin) Garnier.  Bobby Joe made his journey to the Spirit World on October 27, 2022 in Oglala, SD.

Bobby Joe is survived by his son Byron Garnier of Oglala; hunka son Drayson Garnier; brothers Shawn Cross of Lincoln, NE, David Garnier of Rapid City, SD, Dirk Garnier of Greenville, IL, Dakota (Yolonda) Garnier, and Billy Joe Garnie – both of Oglala; sister Georgiana Cross of Rapid City; uncles Stanley Garnier Sr and Dale Garnier; aunts Myra Garnier and Robin Her Many Horses; grandmother Yvonne Sydle; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his parents, David & Georgiana Garnier; son Bryant Garnier; brother Byron Garnier; grandfather Dirk Garnier; uncle Ernie Garnier; nephew Drayson Garnier; and cousin Joe Fry Her Many Horses. 

Pallbearers will be Robert Her Many Horses, Timothy Bores A Hole, Gage Warrior, Nolan Warrior Sr, Dakota Garnier Jr, Andy Her Many Horses Billy Garnier, Wylie Brewer, Ant Warrior, Dasian Garnier, Drayson Garnier, and Stanley Garnier Jr.
