Hemingford posted big second quarter to defeat Sioux County 54-21 Tuesday night.
The Bobcats led by just two points after one period, 8-6, before netting 19 points from five players to lead 27-10 at the break. Returning from the locker room, Hemingford extended its lead with a 14-8 run. The Warriors were able to add only a single three pointer by Jack Hunter in the fourth, while Hemingford added 13 to their side of the board.
G. Bell had 21 points for Hemingford, while Shane Gluth and William Skavdahl led Sioux County with six apiece. Hunter tallied five.
