      The boys basketball C1-12 subdistrict begins tonight in Sidney with Chadron the #2 seed.
Chadron plays in the 2nd game against Mitchell at 6:30, which we will have on KCSR and streamed on Chadrad.com. Pregame is set for 6:20.Â
The Cardinals are 14-8 and Mitchell 13-10, but Chadron won both regular season meetings, 66-48 in Mitchell early last month and 71-37 in the Western Conference Tournament 3-½ weeks ago.
       Tonight’s first game has 19-2 Sidney against 6-16 Alliance. The winners meet Thursday at 6:00 for a spot in the district finals.
        D2-12 also begins tonight Hay Springs the top seed and host. The 15-6 Hawks meet the 6-15 Sioux County Warriors at 5:00. Hay Springs won their only meeting of the regular season 63-45 on the road.
Game 2 has 9-7 Crawford, the 2 seed, going up against #3 Cody-Kilgore at 6:30. The Rams won a tough 63-58 battle at home over Cody-Kilgore to open the month.
The D2-12 championship game is Thursday at 6:00.
