Funeral services for 44-year old Brandon American Horse are Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the American Horse residence – 414 E. 6th St. in Gordon, NE, with Pastor Travis Sherman officiating.
Graveside services follow at 3 PM at the Gordon City Cemetery
A one-night wake service starts Thursday, Aug 27, at 2:00 PM, also at the American Horse residence in Gordon.
Brandon Joseph American Horse was born on December 23, 1975 in Gordon, NE to Garould American Horse and Sharon (Sun Bear) Lowe and made his journey to the Spirit World on August 18, 2020 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Garould American Horse; grandparents, Martha American Horse and Stanley American Horse, Sr.; aunts/uncles, Stanley American Horse, Jr., Faith Ghost Bear and Lucille Clifford; and cousins, James White Face, Stephen White Face, Betty Ghost Bear and Lawrence Black Elk.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Sharon (Sun Bear) Lowe; wife, Kaylynn Lovejoy; children, Jewel, Jillian, Brenna and Becca American Horse; siblings, Emil American Horse, Garould White Face, Jeremy American Horse, Randall, Angel, Angela, Randi and Toni Lowe, Hope, Dori and Monica White Face; cousins, Victor Black Elk, Ramona Clifford, Brian Swallow, Rayandra White Feather and Wyman White Feather; uncles, Donald American Horse, Sr., Eugene American Horse, Jr., Leonard Martinez, William White Feather and John No Leaf; aunts, Darlene Bear Killer, Pearl Rossman, Josephine Richards, Bonnie Swallow, Daisy Martinez, Rena Marshall, Shirley Marshall and Melinda Sun Bear-Stead; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
