A Celebration of Life for 59-year old Brian Wilkinson of Lusk, Wyo, also known as Mountain Man, will be held Sat, Sept 30th, 2023 starting at noon at Ayers Natural Bridge Park, Pavilion 4, in Douglas, Wyo. Please bring your own chairs.

Brian James Wilkinson was born on May 17, 1964, to William and Maria Wilkinson (Reese) in Pottstown, PA. He passed away on Friday, Sept 8, 2023, at his home in Lusk.
Brian was raised in Pennsylvania and graduated high school in 1983 from Pottsgrove Senior High in Pottstown, where he was an avid football player and wrestler.
Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping with his older brother Bill, and was a member of the Second Brigade Motorcycle Club.
Brian worked in construction most of his life and could build anything. He also enjoyed taxidermy and making Indian crafts with hides from hunts.
Later in life, Brian moved to Lusk, where he continued to grow his love and passion for the outdoors, including all things boating, camping, hunting, and fishing. You could always find him with his beloved animals or out in the mountains.
Brian was a loving son, father, grandfather (Poppy, Papa), uncle, brother, friend, partner (husband), cousin, and many more special titles in others’ lives.
Brian James Wilkinson is survived by his wife Jyl Abbott: daughters Megan (Trevor) Singletary, Hannah Wilkinson, and Ashley Wilkinson: son Ryan Wilkinson: stepchildren Baleigh and Jaden Abbott: many grandchildren; mother Maria (Jack) Reese; siblings Bill (Steph) Wilkinson, Maria (Donald) Harting, and Kim Wilkinson-Kahn; and nephews, nieces, and many other family members.
Brian was preceded in death by his father William Maurice Wilkinson; brother-in-law Richard Kane; nephew Mavrik Laxton, and uncles and aunts.
Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, Wyoming is in charge of the funeral arrangements
