Broncos Lack A First-Round Draft Pick & They Don’t Care

Loading

Denver Broncos general manager George Paton isn’t fretting over his lack of a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

He says he’ll spend Thursday night watching Russell Wilson highlights. Paton acquired Wilson from Seattle in the blockbuster trade last month that cost him three players and a bevy of draft picks.

That included his first- and second-round selections this year and next. Paton still owns nine picks in the draft, including five of the top 116 selections.

His first pick is the final one of Round 2 which he acquired from the Rams in the Von Miller trade.
