The Denver Broncos have signed veteran inside linebacker Joe Schobert who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers last year.
The team also activated prized offseason acquisition Randy Gregory and right tackle Billy Turner from the physically unable to perform list.
Schobert’s signing comes two days after linebacker Jonas Griffith dislocated an elbow in the Broncos’ exhibition game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Griffith is expected to miss up to six weeks. He had been penciled in to start alongside Josey Jewell.
