Candace Juile Wright was born on November 17, 1991 in Rapid City, SD to Gary Wright, Sr. and Renee Fire Thunder. Candace made her journey to the Spirit World on November 27, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Candace is survived by her mother, Renee Fire Thunder; sons, Joseph, Koda, and Carter Winters; daughter, Veya Winters; sisters, Emerald Fire Thunder, Kiani Allen, Larissa Fire Thunder, Zeyna Allen, and Alberta Wright; brothers, Tyrell Norton, Larry Fire Thunder, and Gary Wright, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Carmelita Iron Hawk; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Candace was preceded in death by her father, Gary Wright, Sr.; brother, Ira Wright; maternal grandfather, Wayne Moses Fire Thunder; and paternal grandparents, Albert Wright, Sr. and Doreen Poor Thunder.
Pallbearers will be Gary Wright, Jr., Richard Poor Thunder, Tyrell Norton, Justin Jones, Shilo Rouillard, Willliam Rouillard, Alex Schierbecc, and Tyson High Hawk.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
Wake Services: Visitation services will be held from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD.
