The Chadron Cardinals boys and girls wrestling teams began a busy week last night by participating in the Valentine Triangular with Valentine and Gordon-Rushville. Both Chadron teams left with sweeps on the day.
In girls the Cardinals took down Valentine 42-18 in the first dual before knocking off Gordon-Rushville 52-12 in the second.
The boys team started off the triangular by defeating Valentine 39-26, then defeated Gordon-Rushville 41-34.
Both teams will return to action Saturday when they go to Gordon for a tournament. Wrestling starts at 9am.
