A two-night wake service will be held with the first night starting Thurs, July 6, at 1:00 at Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. The second night starts Friday at 11:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle.

Cecil Wayne Apple Sr was born on March 11, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to Kenneth and Edith (Two Crow) Apple. Cecil Sr made his journey to the Spirit World on June 28, 2023 at his home in Pine Ridge, SD.
Cecil is survived by his children Cecil Apple Jr, Heather Apple, Kenneth (Kayla) Apple, Mary (Dale Pourier Jr) Apple, and Marilyn Apple; grandchildren Shayna Apple, Ian Apple, Leland Apple, Wisdom Apple, Cecil Apple III, David Brewer III, Xavier Apple, Kenneth Apple Jr, Oceana Apple, Kenley Apple, Kaysen Apple, Dante Apple, Matthias Sierra, Andrew Thunder Hawk, Payton Thunder Hawk, and Legend Apple; sisters Carla (Toby Big Boy) Apple and Twila (Art) Hopkins; brothers James Fast Horse and Everett Fast Horse; and his dog Katie.
Cecil was preceded in death by his wife Martha (Means) Apple; parents Kenneth & Edith (Two Crow) Apple; brothers Leo Apple, Dennis Apple, Farrell John Apple, Clifton Apple, and Eugene “Duke” Apple; sister Madelyn Little Whiteman; brother-in-law Everett Little Whiteman; niece Kimberly Big Boy; and sister-in-law Wanda Lakota.
