Chadrad Communications Joins United Way Of Nebraska Annual Radiothon Fundraiser

Loading

The United Way of Western Nebraska’s annual Radiothon fundraiser is today and has expanded from just the Scottsbluff-area stations of the Rural Radio Association to include Chadrad Communications, KSID in Sidney, and Eagle Communications.

United Way Executive Director Karen Benzel says the Radiothon runs from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The volunteer call center and walk-in donation site remains the Main Street Market in Scottsbluff, but Radiothon donations will be distributed to the area where those donors live to ensure their donor dollars stay in their home communities.

Throughout the day, each of the radio stations will have updates and interviews with representatives from United Way’s 27 partner agencies about their programs, the services they provide and the importance of the United Way funding they receive.

Donations are welcome via credit card, debit card, cash, or check with options for a one-time donation or recurring monthly donations.

Donations at the Community Partner level of $12.50 or more per month or a one-time gift of $150 or more will receive a commemorative Radiothon T-shirt and a chance to win gift cards throughout the day.

United Way of Western Nebraska has a campaign goal this year of $400,000 to fund its community impact work as well as its nonprofit partners who help families in need across the Panhandle.  Radiothon donations count toward the campaign goal.
