The City of Chadron is once again working with Nebraska Game and Parks this fall and winter on its deer management program.
Police Chief Rick Hickstein says as in the first two years of the management program, the city is making the meat from the deer that are killed available to the public.
Chief Hickstein says a list is being compiled of residents who’d like to be on the deer donation list.
Those who do simply need to contact the Police Department Communications Center. They will be asked for their name and phone number so that they can be contacted as deer become available.
