Additional state track qualifiers were released on Wednesday and Chadron added another competitor and another event.
Brooklyn Hoffman, who placed 4th in the 100m hurdles at the B-6 meet in Ogallala on Tuesday, earned one of six wildcard spots with her time of 16.25. This will be Hoffman’s first trip to Omaha.
Xander Provance added a 4th event to his slate with the long jump. Provance went 20’ 8.25” to place 8th at districts, but tied with a large group of additional qualifiers with one of the next six best jumps across the state. Provance has already qualified in the 110m hurdles and the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
Class B state track begins on Wednesday, May 17th at Omaha Burke Stadium.
