The Chadron City Council meets Monday evening in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The council will have a fairly lengthy agenda including monthly reports from the September Treasurerโs report, the September Water report and the Chadron Fire Departmentโs membership report.
The council will meet several new employees including Renee Redfern the new full time assistant librarian, Kelsey Shafer the new full time accounting clerk II and will be introduced to two new bus drivers Bob Shores and Greg Deaton.
The council will act on a resolution to authorize the Creative District grant application which will be submitted to the Nebraska Arts Council and act on a resolution to approve a final plat for the new SWANN facility on east Niobrara.
Resolutions to approve specifications for a couple of new vehicles will be on the agenda too. One is to approve specs for a new pickup for the airport and the other is to approve the purchase of a John Deere loader for the street department.
There will be a public hearing on the one and six year street improvement plan and a resolution to approve that plan.
