The Chadron High softball team dropped a road game to Scottsbluff on Tuesday night 16-8.
The Cardinals trailed just 7-6 in the 3rd inning before the Bearcats started to pull away.
Chadron returns to road action on Thursday at Bayard.
The Chadron High volleyball team dropped a home match for the first time this season on Tuesday night against Scottsbluff, 25-15, 25-19, 26-28, 25-22.
After Scottsbluff ran away with the first two sets, Chadron fended off a 3rd set rally to pull out set number three.
The fourth set went back and forth until Scottsbluff closed out the win.
Our Service Barbershop Player of the Game went to Raylie Pourier for her performance at the service line. Our Dunbar’s U Design Play of The Game went for effort in turning around a 24-23 deficit in the 3rd into a 28-26 win.
Chadron heads to Alliance next Tuesday.
