The Chadron Platte Valley Bank American Legion Post 12 seniors battled through a season filled with ups and downs that ended on a down Sunday Night as they lost to Ogallala 9-1 to see their season end.
Chadron came into the game off a late night that saw an incredible battle with Gering end at 11:40pm and could not muster anything.
Ogallala was up and ready to go as they pushed one run across in the bottom of the first before dealing the deciding blow with five in the second. Chadron did not get a run across until the top of the fifth to cut it to a seven run deficit. Ogallala responded with two more to get the run rule win.
Chadron ends their at 13-13 and four seniors saw their prep careers end. Broc Berry, Atreyu Thorsen, Logan Slama and Kobe Bissonette. Next up for sports at the highschool level in Chadron is softball vs Southern Valley on August 22nd.
