The Chadron girls cross country team had four top 15 finishers and claimed the team title at Saturday’s Alliance Invitational.
Micaiah Fuller crossed the line in 6th with a time of 22:02.82. Grace Pyle was right behind in 7th, Jentsyn Fuller was 10th. Emma Witte capped off the Cardinals top finishers with a 14th place.
Chadron held off Hemingford 27-32 in the team standings.
The Chadron boys had a banner day by taking 2nd behind Gering.
Gavin Sloan took 10th with a 19:14.86. Caden Galbraith captured 11th and Zander Rust was 14th.
Gering outscored Chadron 12-43.
Chadron goes to Ogallala on Thursday.
