Chadron’s top four girls runners finished inside the top 15 and finished 2nd as a team at the Ogallala Invite on Thursday.
Micaiah Fuller was the first Lady Cardinal across the line with a time of 20:39.18, fast enough for 7th. Makinley and Jentsyn Fuller were 12th and 13th and Emma Witte crossed in 15th.
McCook won the team title 39-47 while Gering’s Madi Seiler continued scorching the course this season with a time of 18:27.57.
The boys race was a fast one with the top four runners all finishing under 17-minutes, led by Perkins County’s Mason McGreer and his time of 16:27.44.
Chadron will run at Scottsbluff next Friday.
