The Chadron High girls saw their basketball season come to an end on Tuesday night with a 66-30 loss to Bridgeport in the C1-12 semifinals.
Chadron was blitzed from the get go, falling behind 20-2 after the first quarter, and then trailed 46-13 at the half. By the late portions of the 3rd quarter the deficit grew beyond 40 and the running clock went into effect.
Taverra Sayaloune was high point for the Cardinals with 6 points. Bridgeport sisters Olivia and Ruthie Loomis-Goltl combined for 39.
Chadron ends the season at 10-14. Bridgeport advances to the C1-12 final on Thursday.
