The fall girls golf season opened up Tuesday with the Chadron Cardinals going to Sidney’s Hillside Golf Course. As a team Chadron shot +112 for a total of 400 to finish 2nd behind host Sidney. Sidney shot a 384 to win with McCook firing a 416 to finish third, Scottsbluff followed in fourth, Gering fifth. Ogallala and Alliance rounded out the team scoring for the Lady Raider Invitational.
Individually, Chadron had two top 10 finishers. Taegan Bach shot a 95 to finish fifth and Eliana Uhing shot a 98 to finish seventh. Other golfers that contributed to Chadron’s team score of 400 include Reese Ritterbush with a round of 103 and Emmerson Landerth with a 104. The fifth golfer for Chadron was Gillian Conway who shot a 110.
Brynnar Bach and Olivia Lyon competed for Chadron in JV action in the Sidney Invite. Next up for golf is a trip to Bayard on Thursday.
