The Chadron High girls golf team finished 3rd at their own invite on Tuesday and earned Western Conference runner-up honors. The meet was double scored to accommodate both tournaments.
Chadron’s Lucy Rischling took home 7th in the Chadron Invite portion while claiming 6th in Western Conference with her round of 103. Taegan Bach also medaled in the Western Conference meet with a 111, good enough for 10th.
Scottsbluff swept team and individual honors all the way around. The Bearcats fired a team score of 372, 76-strokes better than Chadron’s 448. Valentine was runner-up in the Chadron Invite with a 443.
Scottsbluff’s Nielli Heinold was champion with a 76. Teammate Addie Peck was 12 strokes back as runner-up with an 88.
Eliana Uhing, 116, and Kenzie Pourier, 118, rounded out the Cardinal scorecard.
Chadron heads to Monument Shadows in Gering next Monday.
