On a beautiful Tuesday the Chadron golfers ventured down to Ogallala’s Crandall Creek golf course for the Ogallala Invite. Chadron finished fifth as a team shooting a 400. Taegan Bach shot a 93 to finish 9th in the large tournament.
Following Taegan for Chadron was Reese Ritterbush and Emmerson Landreth who both shot 99’s. Elliana Uhing shot a 109 and Gillian Conway shot a 127.
Team wise Chadron shot a 400 which was behind champions North Platte, second place Holdrege, third place Scottsbluff and fourth place Sidney. Other schools competing were Alliance, Cozad, Garden City, Gering, Hershey, Kimball, McCook, Mitchell, North Platte St. Patricks, Ogallala, and Perkins County.
The individual winner was Addie Peck with 37, 38 splits to shoot a three over 75 to win by nine shots over Amelia Ptacnick from Holdrege.
Chadron will be off until Monday when they go to Alliance’s Skyview Golf Course for the Alliance Invite.
