The Chadron and Hay Springs volleyball teams will both play for a spot at the state tournament after capturing sub-district titles on Tuesday night.
Chadron made quick work of Gordon-Rushville in the C1-12 championship at Bridgeport in a 3-0 sweep, 25-18, 25-19, 25-10. It’s the first time since 2019 that the Cardinals have advanced to a district championship.
Hay Springs also got a sweep in the D2-12 championship, downing Cody-Kilgore 25-21, 25-19, 26-24. It’s the 2nd straight year that Hay Springs will be in a district championship game.
