Chadron High School Principal Jerry Mack is coming home from Lincoln bringing with him the 2025-26 Nebraska High School Principal of the Year award. Mack made the announcement through a communication platform Remind, a service for teachers and faculty to easily communicate information with parents and students.
Mack received the award at the Principals Conference in Lincoln this week. This award is presented annually to a Principal who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in their school, region, and state level. The award honors principals who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of personal excellence, collaboration, leadership, curriculum, instruction, assessment, and personalization.
Mack extended the recognition to all the great people he works with every day. He says he often uses the phrase, ‘You are who you associate with’ and this award only confirms that. He says, “I am fortunate to be surrounded by the best students, teachers, staff, and supportive families.”
