The Chadron girls used an 18-3 3rd quarter against Mitchell to break open a six point game and roll to a 60-38 win on Saturday night. It’s now Chadron’s fifth win in a row.
Taverra Sayaloune led all scorers with 20 and Demi Ferguson dropped in 18, 16 of them in the first half.
The Cardinals improved their record to 7-5 on the season.
The Chadron boys also used a big 3rd quarter to snap a two game skid and pull away from Mitchell 66-48. The win is Chadron’s first in the new year.
Broc Berry led three Cards in double figures with 15 points. Brady Daniels added 12 and Gage Wild scored 11.
Chadron is on the road to close out a three game road stretch on Tuesday at Hemingford.
