The Crawford football team put together back to back wins to end their season by beating Banner County 73-12 on Thursday night.
Despite finishing the year 4-4, the Rams will come up short of making the playoffs.
– Hot Springs was a big winner in the opening round of the South Dakota 11B playoffs by running away from Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan 55-7 at home on Thursday.
The Bison will head to unbeaten Sioux Valley next week.
Rapid City Christian pulled off a dominating upset against Woonsocket 36-7 and will play undefeated Deuel.
St. Thomas More exits the postseason with a 24-7 loss to Tri-Valley.
– Chadron is in a win-or go home situation against McCook tonight at Cardinal Field.
The Cardinals enter at 5-3 and on the brink of enough power points to earn a wildcard into the C-1 playoffs, but a win tonight would help solidify Chadron’s case and put them in a wait and see situation.
McCook comes in on the back of an upset win over previously unbeaten Adams Central last week.

– Sioux County is another team that may be in a wait and see situation. The Warriors are at Minatare tonight.
A win tonight moves them to 5-3 on the season and teetering around the 16th seed line which is the cut-off for D-6.
