The City of Chadron allowed voluntary restrictions on water use issued Sunday at noon were lifted at 5:00 as scheduled. Â
The city sends its thanks to Chadron residence for their patience and cooperation in reducing water use for the day.

Because of high temperatures and heavy demand, the City of Chadron has issued voluntary water restrictions for today (Sunday) until 5:00 or further notice.
To maintain an adequate amount of water in storage to meet potential emergencies anywhere in town, the city asking citizens to minimize their water usage. That includes watering of lawns, washing cars, and anything that is non- mandatory.
The city thanks everyone for their cooperation and patience.
