The Chadron Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow Talent Contest is Sunday at 3:00 in the Chadron High School Auditorium.
Coordinator Duane Gardner says 9 acts are registered, one more than last year.
Competition is in 4 classes. Division 1 is K-3rd Grade, Division 2 is 4th-6th, with 7th-9th grades in Division 3, while Division IV is 10th-12th grade.
The Division IV winner receives a $150 scholarship and the right to advance to the Stars of Tomorrow Rocky Mountain District competition in Colorado later this year.
Gardner says one of the many fun things about the Stars of Tomorrow is the wide variety of performances and talents.
This year’s show has 4 vocal performers, 4 dance acts, and a pianist.
Admission is free, but free will donations to help support Kiwanis Club programs will be gratefully received.
