The 2024 All-Panhandle Conference awards for legion baseball were announced Tuesday. Chadron Platte Valley Bank American Legion Post 12 juniors and seniors players were honored with awards. For the juniors, Braden Wright was an outfield all-conference player. Bricen Wright was named as offensive player of the year, and Tobin Landen earned infield and defensive player of the year honors.
For seniors, Broc Berry was an infield honoree, Logan Slama for outfield, Kobe Bissonette with the honor for utility player, and Caden Buskirk was honored for his pitching and was named defensive player of the year.
The juniors finished the season 19-12, losing to area champions Alliance, while the seniors ended the season by losing to Ogallala in the area tournament.
