Chadron, NE – On May 13th at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Chadron Police and Dawes County Attorney/Coroner were dispatched to investigate the unattended death of 31 year old Tyrell Yankton, who had been discovered to be unresponsive at Wilson Park by a local passerby.
After reviewing the scene, evidence at the scene and witness accounts, an autopsy was ordered to assist in determining the specific cause and manner of death.
Though foul play is not suspected at this time, the investigation remains open. Any citizen with information regarding Mr. Yankton or this situation may be forwarded to the Chadron Police Department.
