Chadron Qualifies 4, Gordon 2 For Girls Wrestling District Meets

   The Chadron High girls wrestling team qualified 4 for this week’s District 2 meet with top 4 finishes Sat at the 2B subdistrict in West Point.

Nebraska girls wrestling has only 1 class, 4 districts, and 8 subdistricts with 4 girls advancing from each subdistrict – the championship and consolation semifinalists.

145-lb Fia Rasmussen was the only Lady Cardinal advancing from the championship side. Josey Werner at 100, Bristol Prado 120, and Addie Diers 155 all qualified as consolationship semifinalists after suffering 1 loss.  

     Gordon-Rushville was at the 4B subdistrict in Grant and qualified 3 for the district meet. 130-lb Jennifer Banister and 135-lb Lainey Filmore were both undefeated on Saturday while Kirsten Heck at 140 advanced with 1 loss.
