Chadron State College has named Mannie Reinsch its new Athletic Director. Reinsch will take over beginning July 29th.
Reinsch comes to Chadron after stops at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Colorado State-Pueblo and his current role Austin Peay. He started at Kearney as a graduate assistant in the athletic department before being the Event and Facilities manager after he graduated. Then was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Events.
During his three years at CSU-Pueblo he served as Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Development. In this time he was able to help the athletic department raise close to $1 million dollars annually with corporate partnerships and another $200,000 through the booster club. He was a part of an athletic department that oversaw 21 varsity sports, nearly half went to the NCAA postseason during the 2021-2022 season.
Most recently at Austin Peay State University, an NCAA Division 1 school in Tennessee. He was the Senior Associate Director of Athletics Championships Resources. While there, he and his staff hosted championship events and assisted with the renovation of multiple facilities. In addition, he helped start the baseball program and created Austin Peay’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective.
