Loading

After losing Greg Galbraith up at Chadron State Park, the park has officially chosen and hired their new superintendent.

Josh May, who has been with Chadron State Park since August of 2017, will begin his new position as Superintendent III starting later this month on September 9th. While many of May’s ideas for the park are dependent on a wide range of variables, he says he hopes to soon bring in a mountain biking course along with a miniature golf course. They also plan to crack seal the roads throughout the park to heighten the experience for visitors.

May says, “I’m excited to be serving the community and park and keeping it progressing into the future.”

May also stated that he will be searching for a park assistant in the near future which will be posted when the time comes.
