The Chadron Platte Valley Bank Post 12 Juniors hosted Sheridan County in a doubleheader last night, taking both by 10-2 and 12-0 scores.
The first game featured lights out pitching by Bricen and Braden Wright allowing four hits and no earned runs off four walks. Tayven Jenkins hit a home run in a 1-3 effort with Brayden Linegar and Miles Nesheim each bringing in two runs for Chadron in the run rule shortened game.
In the second game of the doubleheader Chadron sprinted out to a 6-0 lead after the first inning, adding three more in the second and third inning to get the run rule shortened victory over Sheridan County after three innings.
Tayven Jenkins threw a complete game, no hit shutout for Chadron, allowing only one baserunner on a walk and getting all but one of his 9 outs via strikeout.
The Chadron Platte Valley Bank Juniors get the next eight days off, going to Torrington on June 17th before returning home to face Sidney on June 18th.
