The Chadron Fire Department made a quick response to a smoke report south of Chadron across from Chadron State Park Tuesday afternoon.
At 11:00 am, crews were dispatched to two different reports of smoke columns visible from the highway coming from between Mann Road and Chadron State Park.
As of 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, all but two Chadron Fire units have been released from the scene. More details on this fire will be provided when they are made available.
