Chadron Cardinal volleyball will be reloading this year after graduating six seniors from last year’s team. With that, the team does return seven letterwinners from last year’s 17-21 team including starting defensive specialist Kiera Haag.
The Cardinals last year had 1,118 kills last year according to Maxpreps, 924 of those were from seniors who have since graduated. However they do return the third leading attacker from last years team in Paige Slingsby who had 132 of the kills.
Defensively they do return Haag who played in all 104 sets last season, she ended with 191 digs and her along with Raylie Pourier will form a formidable force when serving.
The Blakelee Hoffman coached team will start the season on August 29th in Mitchell, and will not play their first home game until Tuesday, September 10th vs Alliance.
