The Class C girls state golf meet wrapped up on Tuesday with the Chadron girls finishing 15th with a two day score of 897.
Broken Bow captured their third straight state championship with a 688. Minden was runner-up with their 726.
Chadron’s Taegan Bach ended alone in 55th with a Tuesday score of 107 after a 99 on Monday for a 206. Kenzie Pourier dropped 6 strokes on Tuesday for a112 to go with her 106 from Monday for a state meet score of 218.
Eli Uhing and Reece Ritterbush rounded out the team scorecard with identical scores of 237 and Norah Winckler capped off with a 243.
The Gordon-Rushville pair of Tessa Hurlburt and Kylie Coomes finished 32nd and 38th with scores of 193 and 196.
Olivia Lovegrove of Lincoln Christian ran away with the individual title by 13-strokes over Camryn Johnson of Broken Bow, 143 to 156.
At the Class B meet in Gering at Monument Shadows, Scottsbluff’s Anna Kelley made a roaring comeback on Tuesday with a 6-under par to overtake Julia Karmazin of Elkhorn North and win the individual championship 141 to 143.
The Bearcats took runner-up as a team, 8-strokes behind Omaha Duchesne Academy.
Lincoln Southwest won the Class A title by 10-strokes over Lincoln East. Nicole Kobas of Lincoln Pius X won individual honors with a 151.
