It was a busy day for area teams at the Gordon-Rushville wrestling invite.
The Chadron girls produced four champions as Taylee Williamson (115-lbs), Fia Rasmussen (140-lbs), Kenli Boeselager (145-lbs) and Addie Diers (155-lbs) all came away with gold medals. Brooklyn Hoffman was runner-up at 120-lbs and Sarah LaBere claimed 3rd at 170-lbs.
The Cards finished 2nd in the team race behind Lakota Tech.
Hayden Boles of Hay Springs placed 3rd in the girls 145-lb bracket.
The Chadron boys had a couple of winners as Quinn Bailey, named the meets most outstanding wrestler, stayed unbeaten by rolling through the 145-lb bracket. Rhett Cullers pinned his way to a title at 182-lbs and Zane Cullers was 2nd at 160-lbs.
Wesley Jacobs of Hay Springs finished his day with a 3rd place finish at 145-lbs.
