Chadron’s Chase Olson fired a career best 78 on Monday, but a tough field denied him a top 10 finish at the Scottsbluff Invite. Cael Peters of Mitchell sat atop the leaderboard with a 74. Luke Hiltibrand of Ogallala also shot a 74.
Three golfers scored 75’s, three more shot 76’s and the rest of the top 10 filled out with rounds of 77.
Broc Berry was the 2nd Cardinal on the scorecard with an 84. Zane Cullers and Andrew Sommerville each carded a 91.
Scottsbluff outpaced North Platte for the team title 307-318. Cheyenne East was a stroke behind the Bulldogs at 319. Chadron finished the day with a 344.
Chadron will host their own invite on Thursday at Ridgeview Country Club.
