A one-night wake service starts Tues, April 16, at 3:00 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala with evening services at 7:00.

Charles Owen New Holy was born on April 8, 1968 in Pine Ridge, SD to Ambrose and Keva (Ghost) New Holy Sr. Charles made his journey to the Spirit World on April 5, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Charles is survived by his wife Wyola (Iron Boy) New Holy; children Collen New Holy, Amber New Holy, Rain New Holy, Remy New Holy, and Ricky Parker; grandchildren Tyrek and Parker; siblings Nancy Marshall, Judy New Holy, Trudy New Holy, Bernadine Ten Fingers, Evelyn Patton, Kathy Young, Carolyn New Holy, Mary Little Hawk, Jamie Redman, Daniel New Holy Jr, and Wesley New Holy, Tewase & Russell Johnson, Robbie Romero, and Cliff Summers; and numerous nieces and nephews with lots of good memories of their Uncle.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father Keva (Ghost) & Ambrose New Holy Sr.; parental grandparents Julia (Kills at Lodge) & Joseph New Holy Sr; maternal grandparents Julia Jones & Frank Ghost; sisters Andrea New Holy, Eileen Moves Camp, Diane Iron Bird, Sharon Arrowchis, Ruby New Holy, and April Bad Yellow Hair; and brothers Gary New Holy, Ambrose New Holy Jr, Raymond New Holy, and Leca and Wakan New Holy.
