Cheyenne Delano Long Jaw-Little Moon was born on May 4, 1977 in Pine Ridge, SD to Wilson Joseph Little Moon and Mary Jane Crooked Eyes. Cheyenne made his journey to the Spirit World on November 26, 2021 in Rapid City, SD.
Cheyenne is survived by his hunka daughter, Teyah Lynn Richard; siblings, Shannon Struble, Marilyn Marquiss, and Carol Long Jaw; aunts, Marilyn Rodriguez and Von Bear Eagle, and uncle, Moses Dawn.
Cheyenne was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Little Moon and Mary Crooked Eyes; maternal grandparents, Ellis Crooked Eyes and Evelyn Bear Shield; paternal grandparents, Rose (Iron Teeth) Little Moon and James Joe Little Moon; and sister, Sandra Little Moon.
Pallbearers will be James Crooked Eyes, Jose Loya, Chaske Bear Eagle, Matthew Crooked Eyes, Gary Crooked Eyes, Tom Cheyenne, Dakota Richard, and Brennan Cheyenne.
